Gary & Linda Amos, Elder Co-Chairs

Gary and Linda have lived in Georgetown for the last 7 years since retiring to KY to be near family. Prior to moving to KY, they were members of the PCUSA church, but found South Elkhorn through their friend Floyd Kackley and started attending in 2020 and joined in 2021. They’ve been married for 43 years and have a daughter, a son, and 6 grandchildren (plus two unruly chihuahua mixes). Gary spent his career as a CRNA (nurse anesthetist), and Linda is an RN who now teaches as a contract instructor in the SRNA (state registered nurse aide) program at BCTC. They have always enjoyed the fellowship of being active and involved in their church. Linda, at one time, was a Commissioned Lay Pastor in the PCUSA, serving for 6 years in small churches in the NC mountains.
