INVITING MINDFULNESS:
WHAT ABOUT ANGER?
September 8 – 29 • 9:00 AM • Historic Sanctuary
Spiritual Director Lisa Maas will facilitate this four-week small group experience during the Sunday school hour. Spiritual Direction is sometimes described as “a long, loving look at the real.” In a loving and compassionate circle, we will take “a long, loving look at anger.” Anger is an emotion some Christians are very uncomfortable with. Together we will explore the energy of anger, what anger may be here to tell us, and how to be with ourselves when we experience anger.
THREE WORDS & A FUNERAL
September 22 • 5:00 PM • Room 108
What three words would you want people to remember you by? Explore the meaning, structure and impact of a funeral, and prepare in Christ’s love for your own.
