The South Elkhorn church family and friends are invited to this historic site near Paris, KY. Built in 1791, this meeting house is thought to be the largest one-room log structure standing in North America today. An 1801 revival at Cane Ridge helped generate a Christian movement that would eventually result in the denominational body called the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). This movement is often noted as the first one indigenous to American soil.
A bus filled with South Elkhorn youth and adults will be departing the parking lot of South Elkhorn about 9:00 AM.
