 Mickey Anders began his ministry as Senior Pastor of South Elkhorn Christian Church in November of 2006. He grew up in Arkansas and has been in ministry since 1973, serving churches in Arkansas and Kentucky. Prior to coming to South Elkhorn, he served the First Christian Church in Pikeville, Kentucky for almost eight years.
In addition to being minister at South Elkhorn, Mickey has served as a Board member of the Christian Church in Kentucky. He has also served as chair of the Outdoor Ministry Task Force and chair of the Budget and Funds Committee. He currently serves on the Committee on Ministry, which oversees candidates who are pursuing either ordained or licensed ministry.
Mickey holds degrees from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (B.A.), and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div. and D.Min.)
Mickey and his wife, Sarah, have two grown children and one granddaughter.
Associate Pastor Holly Fuqua

Holly was born in Mobile, Alabama and has been raised in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Both of Holly’s parents are ordained ministers and serve First Christian Church in Birmingham, Alabama.
After growing up in Sarasota, Florida, she attended Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina. In 1997, she graduated with a major in Communications and a minor in Religion and Philosophy. In the fall of 1997, she attended Lexington Theological Seminary in Lexington, Kentucky. While in seminary, she met her husband Zach Fuqua who is an Academic Advisor at the University of Kentucky.
Holly and Zach were married in 2000 and have a daughter and son. Holly served Cynthiana Christian Church in Cynthiana, Kentucky for four years while in seminary. She also served Second Presbyterian Church in Lexington, Kentucky for nearly 7 years. She began her work at South Elkhorn Christian Church as the Associate Pastor in January 2008.
Holly enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to Disney World, walking on the beach, laughing, reading, and being with her youth group!
Minister of Music Chris Weiss

Chris was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He began his faith journey at Clovernook Christian Church in the North College Hill burrow of Cincinnati. He grew up as the son of a music educator and the grandson of a Independent Christian Church Minister.
Chris received his undergraduate degree from Asbury College in Wilmore, KY where he met his wife Megan. Before he began his Masters Degree, Chris served the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church in Harrodsburg, Kentucky for two years. He is currently finishing up his Masters Degree in Sacred Music from the University of Kentucky.
Chris and Megan were married in 2004, and have a new born son, Elliott. Megan is a 4th grade teacher in Fayette County public schools. Chris is also an accomplished guitarist, and maintains a private lesson studio of over 30 students. He also maintains a performance schedule in and around Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati. Pianist Kay McAllister
 Kay is originally from Morehead, Kentucky. She plays the piano for the choir and for all the worship services.
Little Elks Director Carol Neal
 Carol Neal has been the director of our Little Elks Preschool for 40 years.
