Outdoor Worship
Sundays, 10:30 AM
South Elkhorn Christian Church “backyard”
If the weather is below freezing, or the backfield is soggy, or there is precipitation, there will be no outdoor worship in the back of the church. You are still invited to come to the church, park your vehicle in the parking lot, and tune to 91.1 FM for “tailgate worship” with others. Please wear a mask if you exit your vehicle and maintain physical distancing from others.
You can also use your mobile device to stream the service from South Elkhorn’s Facebook Page.
Three different ways to worship:
-
-
- You can bring chairs or blankets to sit in socially distant locations on the grass
- You can remain in your car and tune in on the radio frequency 91.1 FM
- Or you can remain at home and watch from the live stream
-
Please bring communion elements from home and use the restroom before arriving at church. Limited restrooms are available for emergency use only.
All who choose to worship in person on the lawn are strongly encouraged to wear a mask in Christian love for others (unless medical condition requires otherwise). Do not attend if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, especially if you running a temperature.
At-risk people are encouraged to worship in car or at home (people over 65 and those with underlying conditions).
Parking attendants will be onsite to direct traffic (you can volunteer to help using the RSVP link).
The website will be updated for worship each week. Look for the “latest sermon” which will include a worship guide (bulletin), online giving links, electronic connection card, and online prayer list. Here are some of those links:
