Helpful Consigner Information
*If you are interested in being a seller, please contact us asap. If you are interested in being placed on our mailing list so we can notify you of our future fall and spring sales, please call, email or sign up when you attend the sale.
*Price items as you see fit.
Dollar amount only. No CENTS!
You receive 70% and SECC/Little Elks receives 30%.
*We do not require an inventory sheet.
*Please try to use only adult wire hangers. This allows for much more clothing at the sale, since wire hangers take up much less space on the rack than plastic hangers. Also, using adult wire hangers prevents small clothing from sliding off the hangers.
* When tagging:
Please write a good description using color or brand name. This helps us match missing tags to clothes.
We are using new tags and if you do not want to reduce on Saturday you have to circle the "no"
.
Please pin pants with 2 safety pins on the top of the hanger so they won’t slip from side to side and you can see the length!
*If you bring your items in a tub, feel free to leave the tub with us for use during the sale. Please put your seller number and name on the tub with a permanent marker. We will put your unsold items in it for you to take home.
*If you forget to price an item I will make a price up and put my initials next to it.
*Clothes sell better cleaned, pressed, and hanging neatly with all buttons buttoned and zippers zipped! Shoes need to be in a sealed bag and toys taped so all pieces will stay together.
Please remember 100’s of people handle your items, think about that when tagging them!
*If you have matching accessories, sell them with the outfit. Pin all together and put one price.
*You can cut a picture out of a catalog or sale flyer and tape to your item, this will help shoppers see what a deal they are getting. Or write “paid $ for this new” on tag.
*Go through your closets, bookcases, and bedrooms. Don’t forget bath toys, bottles, dishes, skates, bikes, and items in the garage. Check the Auto Safety web site to see about recalls: www.cpsc.gov/index.html
