Registration

• Students presently attending Little Elks, siblings of former students and church members begin pre-registration in January prior to the start of school in September.
• Public registration for Fall 2008 will begin on February 7, 2008 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM and morning afterwards until all spaces are full.  This registration is based on a first com, first serve basis. 
• You must register in person.  At that time you will fill out a registration form and pay the $50.00 non refundable fee. 
• When classes are filled, a waiting list is started, with persons being notified when an opening becomes available. 
• You are registering for the entire school year and the registration fee is not refundable if the student is withdrawn at any time.


• Children of all races, religions and sex are welcomed as equals.

Programs Available

Three Year Old Playschool

• Two mornings a week
• Child must be 3 by October 1, 2008 (recommended 3 by August 1)
• Child MUST be toilet trained and able to go to the bathroom and handle clothing without assistance.
• Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM until 12:00 noon.
• 11 children per class
• Social and Educational Learning Environment through theme bases unit lessons. 
• Development of gross and fine motor skills.
• Indoor and Outdoor playtime.
• Music participation.

Four Year Old Nursery School Classes

• Three mornings a week-Child must be 4 by October 1, 2008 
• Meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 am until 12 noon
• 11 children per class
• Social and educational learning environment through theme based unit lessons.
• Development of gross and fine motor skills. 
• Indoor and Outdoor playtime. 
• Music participation
• Kindergarten preparation

Extended Days
Little Elks provides the opportunity for students in the Nursery School Classes to stay at school until 1:30 pm (not Playschool Classes) on certain days during the month.  The child brings a lunch.  A nominal fee is charged for this service.

Little Elks is proud to offer the best programs providing computers and classrooms where units and materials are changed every two weeks. Our teachers have years of experience teaching at Little Elks.

School Costs

• There is a registration fee due when you register your child. This is not refundable if you withdraw your child for any reason.
• The cost for one year of preschool is divided into nine monthly payments for your convenience.  Each monthly tuition is due the “first class day of each month.  The tuition for the month of September is due August 11.  A late fee is charged for payments not received by the due date.  No deductions are made for the absence of the child or snow days.
• Costs below are for 2008-9 school year. 10% discount is given for families with more than one child attending Little Elks Pre-School.

  Registration is $50.00 + Monthly tuition is $127.00 (9months)
  
  Four Year Old Nursery School-3 mornings a week
  Registration is $50.00 + Monthly tuition is $149.00 (9 months)
